Join us at our Greenpoint brooklyn location for a curated and immersive experience with a ‘Back Bar’ reservation. This tasting counter service features curated flights of tea highlighting some of the most prized teas currently on offer at Kettl, as well as by-the-pot service of our entire catalog. In addition to our tea offerings, a range of sweets is available.

The art of matcha
Experience over 15 varieties of Matcha all whisked to perfection. Our curated list includes blends, single cultivars and prize winning teas. We also operate one of the only traditional Matcha mills outside of Japan and offer house milled Matcha by the bowl.

We honored to serve seasonal wagashi (Japanese tea sweets) from Ogawagashi on weekends at our tasting bar. These remarkable creations pair perfectly with our teas

Our tasting counter offers a curated experience of the finest teas Japan has to offer. Reserve a seat at our flagship cafe in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to select from our full catalog of Japanese teas, or choose a dessert paired with tea. We ask for one order per seat at our tasting counter.
Your $5.00 deposit per seat will be credited back to you at the end of service.
We will hold your seat for 15 minutes after the start of your reservation. After 15 minutes, the seats will be released. We apologize for any inconvenience but due to high demand we must strictly enforce the time slots. If you arrive after the 15 minute grace period, we will try to accomodate you via our waitlist or communal seating.
If you need to reschedule your reservation, please email us at contact@kettl.co for assistance. You are able to reschedule up to 3 hours before the start of the reservation.
Our tasting counter experinence is limited to 90 minutes total per person due to high demand. We kindly ask that when your service ends, you offer your seat to the next person waiting.
Due to limited seats available, we cannot accomodate additional members to your reservation. If you need to adjust the number in your party, please email us at contact@kettl.co for help with rescheduling.
Reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we are not able to refund your deposit.
